Kalli is a comedian and total spit fire, which is slightly ironic as she was named after the Greek goddess of eloquence and poetry. She loves to untie shoelaces or try to steal sweatshirt stings. I don’t think Kalli realizes she is a “little” doe as her personality is so big! Kalli was just a tiny little thing when she was born who would fit in the palm of your hands.

Kalli kidded in August 2024 with a single buck kid (I think she knew I wanted a doe to keep out of her, but at least was he adorable!). I was honestly worried she was going to be a devil on the stand as a FF, but she completly suprised me and loves getting up on the milk stand! I think theres been a time of two I forgot to put her grain down, yet she doesn’t move a muscle and loves being milked. Her udder is awesome, she milks down to nothing and is sooooo easy to hand milk.

Despite only having a single kid as a FF, Kalli milked consistently thru the winter months and made enough to exceed the *M requirements (pending ADGA catching up of course). As of 292 days in milk, Kalli has given me 656 lbs, including 41 lbs of butterfat and 32 lbs of protein. I plan to dry her off over the next few weeks, and hopefully she cooperated with my plans to breed her for a January 2026 kidding (please think pink this time Kalli!!!).

Her dam, 3G Family Farm SQ Diona (Agape’s Prize Sullymann Quinn x 3G Family Farm WM Persephone 2*M), has developed into a beautiful doe who has done very well for herself since Kallie’s birth. At the 2021 ADGA Nationals as a FF, Diona made the cut and was named the 13th place 2 year old. At the 2022 ADGA Nationals, Diona was named the 5th place/3rd udder in the 3 year old class. At the 2024 ADGA Nationals she truly looked amazing and placed first in the 5/6 year old milker class! Additionally, Diona was appraised and was scored VEEE 91 @ 04-06. Can’t ask for more out of a doe!!!
